There is always something going on in the world of athletics at The Kings Academy. We are blessed to have a vibrant athletic program filled with much potential and success. The Kings Academy has partnered with Jupiter Christian School and will participate in a Barefoot to Bare Feet Basketball game this Saturday night, January 30 at 7:00pm at Jupiter Christian School. During the Barefoot to Bare Feet game, each coach on the Varsity Boys Basketball staff will coach the game in their bare feet. The proceeds and donations from the event will be sent to Haiti in an effort to provide shoes for needy children in Haiti.
Proceeds from the Barefoot to Bare Feet game will go directly to Samaritans Feet and the country of Haiti. Here is how you can help:
1) Bring a new pair of sneakers to the game as a donation. Any individual who makes a donation will also receive free admission into the game.
2) Make a donation of 5.00 to Samaritans Feet at the game. Any individual who makes the 5.00 contribution will also receive free admission into the game. The normal admission charge is waived with the donation.
3) You can donate online at www.samaritansfeet.org.
4) Additional information about Barefoot to Bare Feet will be presented at halftime of the Boys Varsity Game. There will be an opportunity to text a donation at half time as well.
Make plans to come watch our Varsity coaches coach in their bare feet while supporting an organization that is presently helping the needy in Haiti.
