The Kings’ Academy preschool class of 2-year-olds taught by Mrs. Scarola & Mrs. Leone’s at the Greenacres Campus (Church in the Palms) recently concluded their February “Into The Wild” theme.
The preschool teachers at TKAP’s Church in the Palms location turned their playground into an African Savannah to bring their February “Into the Wild” theme to conclusion. First the students had fun making binoculars out of recycled paper rolls. They then used their binoculars to go outside on an “animal hunt”.
They searched for and identified each African animal that they had studied throughout the month; the giraffe, the zebra, the lion, the hippo, the cheetah, and the elephant. The students (and their parents) were “wild” about this fun learning experience their creative teachers provided for them!
“The children were so excited to recognize their animals hidden on the playground and to use their very own binoculars. From their expressions and from some of the pictures, we think we were successful in bringing this learning adventure to life!” Mrs. Scarola and Mrs. Leone said.
