Over 250 families, friends, alumni and grandparents attended The King’s Academy Mane Event Annual Dinner and Auction on Saturday, March 6th, 2010. The night was a special celebration commemorating TKA’s 40th anniversary.

The evening included a live and silent auction, seated dinner, entertainment by “home-grown” TKA dance students and much more. The Silent Auction featured more than 450 items which induced a frenzy of bidding and fierce competition for the coveted donations.

The Live auction was lively in the spirit of friendly competition and TKA President Jeff Loveland and Auctioneer Sal Valenziano worked as a team to keep the bidders interested and participating.

Jacquie Lopez and her dance troupe kept the Celebration theme in play as the dancers piqued the interest of the auction attendees with an excerpt from Westside Story and even ventured into dancing with guests to “Celebrate Good Times.” Overall, all the participants thoroughly enjoyed this year’s auction.

This year The King’s Academy Annual Auction Co-Chairs were Ann Marie Batten, Tara Schaefer, and Connie Tuller. The sponsors included: Insurance Office of America (David and Dana Lodwick), Regal Paint Centers (Steve & Margarita Rasmussen), and The Raese Family. The Platinum Sponsor was RevanRacing.com (Van & Michelle Collier). The Gold Sponsors were Batten Construction (Greg & Ann Marie Batten), Bob’s Auto Glass (Ed & Connie Tuller), and Braman Honda of PB (Mike & Cristina Rodriguez).
